My heart rate disappeared from the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought this Fitbit specifically for the Heart Rate Monitor. Other then that I can do everything with my phone.

I update my Charge 3 app because Fitbit sent me an email and recommended I update the app - SHAZAM !!!! My Heart Rate Monitor has disappeared.

I have followed the instructions in this forum NUMEROUS TIMES - it does not work. The Heart Rate Option is DELETED from the Menu.

Steps I have taken:

  • Rebooted my charge 3
  • Deleted the Android App and re-installed
  • Posted in this forum and followed the (worthless) advice given here

Dear Fitbit

Since you have clearly deleted the Heart Rate Monitor to avoid any possible Legal Liability due to faulty information displayed and are clearly unwilling to provide the product as advertised at the time I purchased it - will you please provide me a refund

Hello @Freakindj, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. We apologize for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this situation after updating the Fitbit app. Thank you so much for the steps you tried prior to contacting us in order to bring back the heart rate tile.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option. In regards to your inquiry about a refund, you can find more detailed information at: Return Policy.

If this happened after updating the Fitbit app, I'd recommend tapping the Discover tab Health and Wellness Stats. Tap the stat you want to add (heart rate), and tap Add to Today.

I've moved your post to the Android App as there are more changes to get related replies here.

Hope this helps, I'll be around if you need further assistance.

The HeartRate for today only shows resting HR. How to get back the current rate as I am exercising?

Make sure setting is on wrist, not clip.
