Hey All, So there have been some known issues where fitbits (all kinds) just stop syncing with Android Devices. Some have blamed it on Pie, but I'm on Oreo and think I found a solution. I'm gonna be brief and just list off what I've tried, but at the end what ultimately worked for me, TWICE!
Things I've tried
Restart both FitBit and Phone
Disable Bluetooth and reenable bluetooth
Force Stop the App
My Solution - If the above hasn't worked, close or even Force Stop the FitBit app and go to your bluetooth settings. View your "Paired Devices" and remove or forget your fitbit device. Now open up the Fitbit and start the sync.
Moderator edit: Subject for clarity.

@echida Welcome to the forums. Thank you so much for your advice. That I would also recommend. When you remove the Fitbit device from the paired devices the connection will be reestablished.
I also recommend people check these articles out:
- Why does the Fitbit app need to run in the background on my Android phone?
- Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Have a nice day!

Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on. Turn your phone or tablet off and back on. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. If your Fitbit scale won't sync after you reinstall the app, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone or tablet and try to sync.

The trouble is that this is only a temporary fix. The issue recurs almost daily. Is there any more permanent fix?
