I have not been able to get my steps from my Fitbit to sync with myfitnesspal. This has never happened. I have removed and reinstalled everything and no change.

Let me help you with your MFP integration and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You don't need to uninstall the apps but you can try revoking MFP access to Fitbit and then relinking both apps. You can follow these instructions from them.
