Need to force stop fitbit app to see new step count

Hello!

Thanks for fixing the different step count on the Pixel Watch 3 and the Fitbit app. If it is updated, the number is the same.

However, when I force sync, fitbit still shows me the old value on the today tab most of the time.
As soon as I tap on ‘show statistics’ on my mobile phone, it shows me the correct value. If I then go back to the top left, only the old value is there again.
As soon as I force the app to stop, the new value is displayed.

Do you have similar problems?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @JasperBE

An update to the Pixel Watch Fitbit app started rolling out yesterday (15 Oct 2024). I got the update this morning (16 Oct 2024).

Please go to the Play Store app on the Pixel Watch and look for the Fitbit app update.

Although I haven't seen any confirmation yet, I'm hoping that this update includes the fix for the step tracking/syncing issue that we've been experiencing.

It should read as follows: As soon as I tap on my Pixel Watch to ‘show statistics on my mobile phone’, it shows me the correct value on the phone in the steps tab. If I then go back to the todays tab, only the old value is there again.
