New Blaze Clock Faces!

I just got my Blaze and keep getting the dreaded pink ! when syncing. My data seems to be syncing sometimes, but I have yet been able to change settings (clock faces, set alarms, etc.). It seems to be droping its pair frequently.

For reference, I have an HTC m9 (latest update) and have also updated the firmware on the Blaze. Both the blaze and blaze classic are showing up on my phone. I've done reboots of both devices to try and solve this, I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I've logged out and back when while doing the same. The app has all permissions, BT and location services are all on. I have realiable WiFi (also tried useing LTE).

What other options are there to try? I would love to actually be able to use the item I just purchased, which is turning out to be a real headache at this point.

Accepted Solutions

Alright, after hours of searching I finally found the solution on another thread in the Blaze section.

  1. Turn off Bluetooth
  2. Go into the FitBit app and remove the tracker
  3. Reset your tracker
  4. Turn Bluetooth back on
  5. Read the tracker as a new tracker

This seemed to work for both issues of not syncing the new clock face and the alarms. Hope this helps.
