Fitbit Update: 9/10
Thanks, everyone for your feedback on the Android dashboard. We're always aiming to improve our user experience and have relayed this information to our team.
There are no plans to revert to the old dashboard. We understand that the app update may not be up to your standards, but we do hope you continue to interact and explore the features.
Since all feedback has been passed on, we will be closing the thread. If you are experiencing any issues or have bugs to report, please start another thread. We appreciate your cooperation.

We have now transitioned everyone onto the new Fitbit app experience. With this new design, we've created a space that is more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
We hope you enjoy using this new dashboard and interface for all your Fitbit needs. For any issues using the new interface, for example bugs you come across, we'd like for you to leave comments in this thread.
Please only report bugs or issues with using the app.

THANK YOU.... you are a STAR... did what you suggested and it WORKS.. flex synced after a reset and is now showing all that it should... BRILLIANT 🙂

@Pauliemacsr I figured it couldn't hurt to tweet Fitbit a link to this thread and ask why they haven't responded. If enough people do it, maybe they will take notice.

Have you tried starting a challenge or checked "friend" list? I rolled back to 2.7 and show no friends!

Wow, my Fitbit Zip has not worked right since that date!! Doesn't sync and/or can't find my device!! Has been very frustrating as I have used the app without any problems for a few years now!

I have used my fitbit for a couple years and it synced with the SparkPeople app perfectly. With the new upgrade, it does not sync to the app consistently and it will say it is looking for the fitbit device while it is inches away. I am very disappointed in the new experience. It is frustrating and time-consuming.

August 31st... the last time my Charge did anything that made sense. Now wearing a watch that's not even keeping the right time. I don't even know if my steps are accurate either?!! LoL but really, this isn't funny.

I have played around with this almost all day.
I tried downloading an older version of the app. However, once the download was complete I was not able to install it. By that time I had already deleted the app from my phone.
As much I did not want to, I reinstalled the new version. To my surprise, all of the connectivity and Bluetooth issues were resolved. My phone's Bluetooth is once again showing that I have a Charge 3 paired to it.
Further, the heart rate is now showing me my heart rate and not the stagnant "resting heart rate" which never changed.
Still not a big fan of the new version of the app, but at least I have the core functionality working again.

My fitbit no longer syncs at all. Have tried all the trouble shooting tips. Very frustrating! The tracker is recording steps but i cannot get any info to my phone. Also there is no step option on new update. Again very disappointing!

The updated interface is very buggy. Freezes often and it can't find my device(Charge 3). I am also not a fan of the updated sleep score. I prefer to see my average sleep. The percentage sleep score mean nothing to me.

@Pauliemacsr try clicking for 'more' and see if you can see your friends list then. That happened to me also and I still had friends, it just wasn't admitting to it anymore.

I don't mind the new design and know I'll get used to it with time regardless! With that said, it seems like just as with many others I am have difficulty with syncing. It will only pair the devices if I restart my phone, and even then it doesn't last long before prompting me to pair again. I'm using a Google Pixel 2.

Yes, again reloaded app but still had to reset my Zip again to get it to sync!! Seems I have to do this routinely!😡

But you can't customize as much as you could in the old UI. Manage Activity Items have to be at the top and Manage today items have to be below that. You can't move a today item above an Activity item. It's a loss of functionality over the prior design and very frustrating.
