We have now transitioned everyone onto the new Fitbit app experience. With this new design, we've created a space that is more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.

We hope you enjoy using this new dashboard and interface for all your Fitbit needs. For any issues using the new interface, for example bugs you come across, we'd like for you to leave comments in this thread.

Please only report bugs or issues with using the app.

@Danforths , I am in the UK, my phone is android 5.  I got the update to 3.3.1 and that's what I am using. In anticipation I looked on playstore to see if the 3.4 was available. What is offered is 2.75.1. So if I reloaded the app I would go back a year. I would love to know what fitbit think they are doing. If that version turns out to be one of the old defective ones. I would be forced to use alternatives that fitbit get upset about you using.

I have queried this big rollback of what is available to me on playstore but, as usual, no response has been forthcoming. I suppose there is no cut and paste response drawn up yet.

My fitbit hasn't synced since Aug 23. I have had a fitbit since they came out. Looking at a a competitor. Very Disappointed.  My Fitbit won't work, You broke it. Take responsibility Fitbit. Fix It. If the only way to have a tracker is buy one, won't buy fitbit  you'll just irresponsibility break it.again. Once bitten, twice shy. You won't fix it so bye.

If so many of us are having the same problem cant the Better business bureau step in or consumer affairs? They are scamming us ot atleast gross negligence!

How long before you fix the heart rate not registering anymore????????????????????  So very many problems with the latest update and now this!! I see a lot of people in here complaining about it, but your lazy, incompetent coders have not released a fix. You are the absolutely slowest responders to major issues of any company I have dealt with!! I am now starting a new hashtag on Twitter.  #fitbitsucks

My device no longer syncs. I can't get it connected after trying every troubleshoot method...

Wonder what they would do if we all bought a different brand? That's about where I am.

I bought a smartwatch fitness tracker ( Skygrand) on Amazon for $29.99. Downloaded the app and it synced immediately (watch charges with usb). Instruction booklet is confusing but app is simple and direct. This watch can do lots more than what I need (like maybe read texts?) But I've been wearing it today, using the app on my tablet, it works great, syncs easily. So far so good. Goodbye zip. (Oddly enough, tho the app has lost all my previous data for my steps...two years' worth, I got an email from Fitbit announcing last week's totals (which were only two days because I could not sync after that). And they had the steps!

Along with lots of others my Fitbit no longer syncs with the app since it was updated which means it is totally useless. It did sometimes take a few tries on the old version but hasn't synced since 6 September. Fail to see how this is an improvement and would prefer to go back to the old version. Perhaps someone in the company should listen to their customers.

@Lilbiddy. dont use the app store

Use up to down

The version on the app store is 3.5.x that fitbit never updated the information on because they were too lazy to do their job for over a year of updates and update the info on the app store, however reat assured, the version is 3.5.x and is useless , 3 x larger than it should be and doesnt work.

Make your own conclusions, i spent 6 hours to date removing and reloading to find a solution

Yes its a step backwards in revisions, however it works.  It syncs, it displays, it still connects to my group of friends

It does not have the "new fitbit experience" interface.... And in my mind, that is a good thing.

After what feels like forever, I tried trouble shooting again. Uninstalled the app, reinstalled it and reset my Fitbit One. It's actually working, for the most part, now. It still takes forever to sync and I'm pretty sure it's not counting all steps. I was at the gym last night and got three miles in but not quite 2 were counted on my Fitbit. So while it's kind of working I'm still on the hunt for a replacement.

   I'm sorry to anyone still experiencing problems just syncing. That was the biggest most frustrating problem I have ever had with this. I hope it starts working for everyone again soon!

@Danforths

Be very careful about your post regarding up to down. A moderator removed my posts for giving help and advice [by suggesting up to down,] even though I was only being helpful!

Why isn't the heart rate showing on my phone?  I'm sure I'm not the only person having this problem.  While I am exercising, my resting heart rate does not matter to me?   And, many times when I sync, I get "no device found".  My wrist is right next to my phone?!!??!!!

They wouldn't do anything except blame it on the users and/or their phone. I know it's my phone that keeps losing my device (complete sarcasm here folks) as no device found error is a problem even though my device is less than a foot away from my phone. Darn phone! What's a person to do!?

Fitbit premium issue!

I started two programs and the "intro to healthy habits" crashes every time I select it. It states its having trouble reaching the server try again. NEVER OPENS because of this I cant quit the guided program. I dont want to pay for something that's not working which sucks because I really want to try this premium thing out!

@KellyJWS This is exactly what happens to me daily; I have tried everything people would normally suggest but nothing fixes it!

@lkjacob63

Actually you should check Bluetooth settings screen on your phone. It might be (very possible) that phone still see your tracker as connected device. Application is using some crazy way to communicate that it fails easy and kills phone's Bluetooth. This is very weird situation when my Versa receive notification, sync properly, but as soon as I try to open watch face settings I get "Versa not found message".

My feeling that this is worst Bluetooth using device (at least for big players) as it shows so many problem related to it.

Looking now for different brand to get as replacement.
