New dashboard doesn't show calories burned/remaining for previous days

When I look at my previous day the calorie tile shows no data - as if I didn't enter anything. All my other stats are still there so why isn't this. This new dashboard is really not fit for purpose.

Hello @Lenster, good to see you again. With the tile that provide the information of calories remaining, when you navigate through previous dates the tile won't change as it happen with the grand tile that contains your main stats (Steps, Calories, Distance, Active minutes). This tile will remain on today's data with the new design of the Dashboard and in order to see more details of previous dates you need to go in to the tile for previous information.

If this is what you are experiencing, note that is the way it works the app. If the behavior is different would you mind to share some screenshots? To know more about to upload screenshots take a look at this post.

See you until the next one, I'll be around if you have more questions.

That's exactly what I'm experiencing and it's not acceptable! Saying "that is the way the app works" is not helpful at all. People are trying to tell Fitbit that this is a backwards step. We want to be able to look at all our stats on a given day, not a previous days exercise but today's calories! I know how to tap on that tile and see my previous days food plan but what I want is to compare my exercise and calories/food for any given day, in its entirety - otherwise what is the point? Fitbit are NOT listening to what people are saying they want. They are just giving us what they want us to have and have removed functions that we had before. It's just not good enough!

No only the top tile changes. If you tap the little grey arrows at the sides of your top tile you can go backwards and forwards through your days. It shows steps, calories, active minutes and distance all for the day you want. The tiles below, like sleep, exercise and calories in just stay on the day you're on. To be honest I've stopped doing my food plan, it totally annoyed me as it just made it so awkward to compare all the stats for any given day. Demotivated me really, totally the opposite of what having a fitbit is meant to do. Loads of people complained but fitbit response was basically like it or lump it!

I totally agree with you.  The Dashboard should display the data for the DAY you are on, period.  It's very counter-intuitive to be on a previous day and not have the Dashboard display data for that day.  This seems more like a bug than a feature!
