New fitbit charge 2 will not connect to samsung S6

I have tried to connect my new Charge 2 to my Samsing S6. I get to the point where I enter the 4 digit code and then it just says connect for ages until sending me a message to turn Bluetooth off and on. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?

Use a pc for the set-up, the phone app is broken 😞 

And use the Bluetooth dongle that came with your charge 2 over any built-in Bluetooth on the pc, it will work alot better.

Unfortunately, nothing would work for me. No amount of resetting or use of different device and my fitbit has been returned to the shop.
