Newest Update... YUCK!

The new android app is awful, as soon as I figure out how to roll it back I will.  Tracking activities USED to be easy, not it is not only more complicated, it is also non-intuitive on how to even get started!  And food tracking also used to be easy... again, now... NOT!  Can anyone tell me ANY advantages to the new interface???  I am not questioning the updated features, not that I have used them, like the GPS tracking, but the mobile app interface used to be dead simple to use and now it is buggy (phone reboots when adding activities... never used to!) and is confusing.  Give me back the old interface... I am trying to find the old APK so I can roll back on my own.  If I could post a rating on this update it would be NEGATIVE stars.

Don't care for the new update. I prefer to know what I'm doing today than what i did yesterday or last week. The whole purpose of me using the product is to track what I'm doing today so I can adjust my activity to reach my goals. Please correct this issue or I will be changing to a product that meets my needs. I have enjoyed my flex and the app until now and have lost 15lbs so fast.

TItaly with these posts. After the latest update the logging of exercises became anti-intuitive, it made duplicate entries for each day, and then when I deleted the dupes the whole week was lost, disappeared. Now the very active minutes record no longer updates when exercise is logged. The next app update better fix these issues or I too will just stop using my Fitbit. Very disappointing.

I just purchased the surge, very unhappy with this product I use a GPS today for a trail run hoping that it will sync with the app and it won't sync all the information that it showed on the watch just after the workout won't appear on the app. This just won't work! As I'm trying to transfer this information to my Strava account which fit bit claims it will do still having problems doing that. I've also noticed that you the watch is pretty much useless if you don't have your phone nearby, so what's the point in having a watch if your phone will do it by itself could have saved 200+ dollars!

I'm also having problems with doing run and biking back to back the app just won't register both activities as have been done. For instance the cycling part just won't show up .

I just called the customer service and basically told them the same thing, word for word. Also requested my feedback to be recorded and passed to the boneheads who authored the "improvements". What stinks the most is not only that the new UI is a step back in every way imaginable (and goes against the tenets of good UI design), but that the OLD bugs are still there! Like for example, whenever you try to edit a food entry, it would revert to previous one a few times (no doubt, due to lousy sync implementation), or it would show updated heart rate, but take another 10 min to show the corresponding graph. I am sure that there is forum post somewhere that even tells them how to implement delayed sync properly, but years in - still not fixed.

The new app does not even record steps I am taking.  Give us the old one back!

We don't need to check out your directions.  You need to fix the app.

Once you figure out how to roll it back please let the community know. This new app is atrocious.

Hi Everyone. Thanks for your feedback. It’s rough to hear the sentiment from our Community members, but I understand the feeling of not being satisfied with a change in service or an app. I’m sorry this new version isn’t up to your standards. What I can do (and what I will do) is take note of the bugs and forward them to our team: I’d be happy to do that. Thank you for your understanding.
