No Call Notification on Fitbit Versa Samsung 8+

Hi There,

Running Android 8.0.0 

Version 2.75 Firmware 32.32.10.15

I currently don't have the option to answer or reject calls on my Versa. I only get a notification of a missed call after the fact. 

Wondering how I can setup the option to receive calls from my fitbit.

Thanks for sharing that information. 

You should be able answer calls and get call notifications with that setup. In this case I'd recommend that you try to follow the steps in this article to get them to work. 

I'd also recommend that you try to update the  Fitbit app to the latest version.

Thanks for your reply 🙂 I have tried everything in the articles that you provided links to including updating my app. I have had no success.

The strange thing is while my phone is ringing there is no activity on the fitbit at all. As soon as the call hangs up I immediately get a notification on my fitbit of the missed call. 

Any other ideas?

Thanks for adding more details to the situation.

I'd like to ask a couple of questions:

• Are you using any sort of battery saving app? It is possible that it could be interfering with the connection between the Fitbit and the Phone.
• Additionally, are you connecting anything else to your phone via Bluetooth? The same could be happening as with the app.

I am not running any sort of battery saving app and the onky bluetooth connection is my car radio but this doesn't affect my connection when I'm at the gym or shops...

Also, the phone is connected to my fitbit as I have tested it by having my friend ring me. There is nothing on my fitbit while it's ringing then as soon as you hang up the missed call notification comes up on the fitbit. 😞 

Should I contact fitbit? Maybe I bought a broken one!!

There's one more thing I'd like to test. Do you have access to another mobile device that you could try to setup notifications with and see if that one works correctly? If so, please give it a shot.
