No Notifications (Text or Otherwise) w/ Samsung 6 Edge

I just set up my Blaze today but I'm not able to get any notifications at all from my Samsung 6 Edge. My Blaze is paired (shown under available devices as input device and I did get the confirmation code. Bluetooth is on for the Blaze. I have text notifications enabled on the phone (including message preview) and I switched from Message+ to the standard Samsung Messanger based on a few threads in this board. I have rebooted both the Blaze and the phone since making these changes

Am I missing something? I have had several emails, texts, and 3rd party app push notifications plus a phone call come in since pairing and not a single one has made its way to the blaze. Thanks in advance for any help!

First thing i see is the Blaze (classic) is only used to control music. Blaze can not be paired this way,

In the same Bluetooth display do you see both Blaze and Blaze Classic?

Notifacation won't happen without Blaze showing as connected.

Make sure the app is up to date.

Also from what i read Fitbit has Message Plus is working now on Android, while the default message app while more that 1 unread message, you'll only get a message count and a list of senders. This is the way Android says thos setup should work.

Now fitbit by itself may only look at one messaging app, call app, and calander.

In the fitbit app make sure the proper app is being monitored. Actually look at my response here wherei give 8 things to check on android.
