No Recent Food

After logging off of my Fitbit app and restarting my Fitbit, I had found that all of my recent foods are gone and no new ones have been listed under the recent. Is this the app's latest glitch or something like that?

It has been over two weeks now. It doesn't seem like it's a priority...

And there are other glitches as well - the calories out are wildly inaccurate on the food tile.

Check your App version. Mine updated from 4.67 to 4.68.1 sometime over the weekend. App store claims this was as of 4/25/2026, but app was not at that rev in the App Store as of mid-last week (say 4/29), so someone is fudging...not Google, couldn't be.... 🙄

Seems better, and I did just enter 4 days of food entry without problems. (I was away at an internet connectivity-challenged area.) I note on the Apple App forum the last poster on 1 May reported problems gone.

Not sure if the fix was this app release or whether it was a server issue that got fixed. In any case, Google needs to be up-front with its user base. Information hiding is never good, even if they wish to avoid embarrassment, say a broken build script or, decision not to test something.

Any other reports of things better?

Thanks, good thought.

And...I just updated the app, and _still_ there is nothing in recent foods when I enter things. And calories in/out is _still_ inaccurate.

Hey Google - you must really want to gut Fitbit. Or?? It's super-frustrating.

The recent food tab has not worked for 2 weeks. You say you are working on it - please give us an update??? This is something simple that should have been beta tested.

What's the latest? It's been weeks, how much longer do we have to put up with this?

Mine finally works today.

My goodness, that was fast.🙄

I see my recent are also working. I haven't checked the calorie count numbers to make sure the daily food log adds up and matches the dashboard.

It would be nice if they added back the ability to add/edit "My Food" and returned the ability to create "Custom Meals" that the web version used to have.

Yeah it's still not working for me either and this is my last straw to just give up on nutrition tracking in fitbit. I've moved to another app (won't say the name because they might remove my post?) that integrates with fitbit, so it still sends all the calories and macros into fitbit for comparing against calories burned and goals, but the experience of actually entering the food is waaaay better. The one I'm using has recent foods but also allows custom foods, favorite foods, custom recopies, etc.

When I got my Moto 6 2026, the recent food I got showed up.

Message me directly with the nutrition app you are using.

Thanks

Is there a way to message me the name of the app? I am really tired of all the delays at fixing things too. I know there are sev free apps out there to track calories but I'd like an easy way to coordinate it with my fitbit for steps, sleep, etc.

Sounds like the app you're using is "Cronometer".

I've been on Fitbit version 4.68.1 since they pushed it out. As I stated in an earlier post, ALL "Recent Food" items were missing. There was numerous items and many screens to scroll through. A few days ago some of them reloaded but it was only was enough for one screen swipe, basically two screens worth of data! Very bad Fitbit! Time to consider the "Cronometer" app.
