No Sync Button in App

Sometime in the last hour the "sync" button disappeared from the app. I have restarted my phone, closed out the app, updated the app, and deleted it and reinstalled. Nothing has brought back the "sync" button. Thoughts?

Hello everyone! We recently experienced an issue where the syncing button disappeared on the Android app. We're truly sorry for the inconvenience. 

 

The good news is everything should be back up and running. To apply the fix, please force close and reopen the app! We're keeping a close eye on things so that this doesn't happen again. Once again, we're sorry for this mishap.

I unpaired my charge from my Bluetooth on my galaxy s6 because it was not syncing and now when i try to pair my charge with my phone again it doesnt come up when i search for devices...help!!!

Thanks for stopping by @bernadetteg! I would recommend starting with a restart to your tracker and then try to set it up as a replacement. If this doesn't work, you might want to reboot your Android device and try once again. Hope this helps! I have moved your post to the Android app board because it is more related to this topic. Until now I've had no problems with my Fitbit One. Suddenly the option to sync with the app has disappeared! On the Dashboard there's a pink exclamation point when Blutooth is disabled and I haven't synced recently -- same as before. What's different now is that when I click on the pink exclamation point, nothing happens. If I turn on Blutooth, the pink exclamation point disappears but it doesn't sync. If I go to Device, it won't sync there, either -- the sync circle isn't there anymore.

What the heck is going on?

Its gone on moto M as well. I couldn't sync all day.

My charge hr is the same for about 3 hours . Any response or ideas from fitbit

Gone on Samsung Galaxy S6 too. I was able to synch using my computer, hopefully the Android app is fixed soon.

I just synced mine a few minutes ago and then right after the ability to sync on my app disappeared. I almost always sync to my phone rather than my laptop, since I don't use my laptop much. I'm going to be really frustrated if I have to start up my laptop every time I want to sync my Fitbit.

And what about when we're not near a computer? I want to be able to see my steps while I'm going about my day outside of the house. This feature definitely needs to be fixed.

Gone on my Samsung Galaxy S4 too. Nothing I've tried will bring it back: logging out and logging back in, disconnecting and reconnecting bluetooth, restarting the phone...

Same here. I went to check my progress for the day, and saw it hasn't synced for almost half an hour and the option to force a sync it's completely gone!

I am concerned that they have changed it so we can only sync with a pc
I don't own a pc
I bought a surge paryly because I can sync it with my phone!
