No Target in Cardio Load

I have been using the Fitbit app with my Google Watch 3 for over a year and regularly use the target cardio load, which I have set to maintaining fitness.

Suddenly as from yesterday the app has stubbornly said "No Target" instead of giving me a target load.

I have tried rebooting both my watch and the phone. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Watch app. None of these have made any difference.

Please don't reply saying you need to use this for at least 7 days. I know that and I've been using it for over a year and it has worked fine until now. Why has it stopped working now?

@JoolzF @JerryHam , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your messages .

The bug that caused Cardio target load to not appear in the Fitbit App for some Customers has been fixed. Performing a manual sync in the Fitbit app (pull-down on the Today screen) is the recommended work-around to populate the Cardio target load value.

Yeah, it seems broken. Yesterday and today I also got no target cardio load. Just another FitBit goof up.

That is still not working for me. I'm mad I even bought an inspire HR when my inspire 2 broke. I've been wearing the inspire for 12 days and there are no zone mins (which I guess the HR doesn't track which is dumb), cardio load, or calibrating. All say zero. I've updated the app, logged in and out, and keep doing a manual sync. My settings seem correct.  Nothing fixes it. The only thing I haven't done is switch to Google and I'm scared to do that because it seems even glitchier according to what I've read. Very frustrating.

@erdooley the Inspire HR is a legacy device and is no longer supported by Fitbit/Google. It was discontinued in 2020 and was not sold by Fitbit after that. Because of the device's age, Active Zone Minutes and Cardio Load features were never available on the Inspire HR.

I don't know what kind of refund options the seller of the Inspire HR would offer, but it might be worth returning that device and going with a current model, such as the Inspire 3, which is still supported and has improved features and functionality.

Oh that's a bummer! I had no idea. I got it on ebay because I was trying to save money. So I doubt I can return it. Maybe I'll get an Inspire 3. My Inspire 2 was fine except the plastic bit that allows the band to be attached broke, so I had to start using it as a clip on only. I quickly realized I much prefer using a band. Thanks for the reply. I don't know why Google didn't just tell me the HR doesn't show that info.

@erdooley Google says here that the Inspire 2 will be supported through April 2026. If yours still works and you want to keep using it, you just need a different sort of band for it.

There is a children's model called the Ace 3 that is the same size as the Inspire 2. The band looks like this and you pop the pebble into it, so doesn't need the bit of plastic that broke off.

If you Google "Fitbit Ace 3 bands", you'll get lots of options. Pay attention to sizing though, because it's a kid device. You may be able to find bands similar to this that are meant for the Inspire 2 as well, if a kid size won't work for you.

@erdooley I glad you were able to return the Inspire HR. If you want to switch back to your Inspire 2, here are some bands you might consider.
