No notifications from Pixel 3

I now have a Google pixel 3 and can not receive any notifications on my Fitbit. I am still able to sync it for sleep, steps, ect. But no notifications for text, callc or email are showing on my versa. Any suggestions?

Let me help you get the notifications to work correctly!

The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article that talks about getting notifications to work. While you might have tried some of the steps in there please do try going through all of them.

I spent two hours today walking through every reset step possible with a Fitbit tech. Still doesn't work. The Charge 2 works for notification alerts on my LG G6 and iPhone 6. An Ionic works on my Pixel 3. So there is something not working with the FW of the Charge 2 on a Pixel 3. 

The final answer was 50% off any device and they ended the conversation. No thanks. Can't give you money to replace something that isn't physically broken.

After much mucking about I can get notifications calls, calendar events, emails and WhatsApp but still can't get text messages from Google Messages.  I don't think this is a Fitbit problem, more a Pixel or Google App problem with Messages.

I am having a similar issue. Google pixel 3 and Fitbit charge HR 2. I can get calls, but no texts. I've gone through the Fitbit trouble shooting as well as going through Google's permission settings and my text settings.

Disappointed.
