Hello,

Just bought a brand new Versa but surprised to discover that it doesn't sync msg, calls & calendar with my Samsung A5 !!!!! Since this Type is one Samsung best seller series especially for business use. I bought my versa for health monitoring for sure but also to help me stay on track of my notifications. Honestly i'm seriously thinking to return my Versa although i liked it (design, features...). Can anyone help please ? Thanks

Nice to see that you're digging into the Fitbit Forums @Elbezzaoui, let me give you a warm Welcome to our Community.

Many thanks for let me know that you have a Samsung A5. This device is not on this list so it's not fully compatible with all features of Fitbit devices and the Fitbit appOur team routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models.

Be sure to verify that your phone meets the minimum operating system requirements and I'd recommend to verify the settings to receive notifications. To do so you can check this helpful article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

Keep me posted if you have any other questions. Have a nice weekend!

I'd return it while you still can. If you don't have a listed device you won't get any help from fitbit and the possibility of ending up with a really expensive paperweight.

Thanks for your reply. Actually it's a bit weird that some members of the community are confirming that their Versa is working fine with their Samsung A5 !!

Hey there @Lilbiddythanks for stopping by! I greatly appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for getting back to us @ElbezzaouiYou can try removing the tracker from your phone's Bluetooth settings with all devices listed there too. Restart your phone and your tracker. Now add the tracker to the Bluetooth list and reopen the app to start a sync.

If those steps don't help, I recommend you to check all the requirements listed in this article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope that helps, let me know how it goes!Cat Happy
