No text messages on new phonr

I have a new phone the Samsung so I get Fitbit messages steps taken and my alarms and reminders however I don't get my regular text from friends  and family.

@Kandeesey Hi and welcome - if I understand your enquiry you want text messages to show on your tracking device - have you tried the following

 

from the mobile app click on the device picture, now look for general and notifications click on this  you should now be on a page with the following

calls (toggle)

text messages

calendar event

 

Advance settings

Enable notification widget (toggle)

 

click on text messages and then toggle on then arrow back (top left)

scroll to enable widget and toggle on

 

now goto the 3 dots on the top right and select send a test notification to see if it works

 

this should allow you to get your messages
