Under settings, I can turn notifications on, but it only says push notifications for badges ND goals. I thought I was supposed to get text and call notifications too, but there is no option for that. I have a galaxy s7.

Welcome to the Community @Charlieann. Samsung Galaxy S7 is not a compatible phone yet and that's why you are having problems connecting it with your tracker. Our team is hard working in testing the compatibility of several phones. Keep in mind that you sync your tracker with a compatible device or your computer. I recommend keeping an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update.

Alex..if you work for fitbit you need to ck your our info. I have a Samsung Galaxy 7 and when I first set up my Alta was was getting text and phone call notificationso. And this has just recently stopped. When I click on the link you provided to "check compatible devices" Samsung Galaxy 7 comes up in the list. So why would you say it's not a compatible device??? This is note helpful at all
