Not Enough Data on training summary - Android Fitbit App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the app under the exercise data the "energy" tab says" No enough data available" to show the total calories burned, calrious/min burned, an the graph that is normally there. This first time it has occurred. I've tried restarting the app and the phone(Galaxy S10) and cleared app cache and it still hasn't corrected it. Even restated and re-synced my Versa 3. Last day I logged exercise before today was Thurday 3/10/2010 and it was showing the energy data. The app is up to date according to Google play store.

@Zwoody05 Welcome back to the forums. Thank you for the explanation. I appreciate you taking the appropriate measures to resolve this on your own prior contacting us. That I find extremely odd. Please be so kind to check the tile for the bruned calories. I am sure the amount of calories burnt during the time of this activity will be shown there. It must be a display issue with this specific training.

How did it go with the next trainings? Did it happen again? Was the activity tracked automatically by the Fitbit? Or did you start it manually? Please monitor next tracked activities. Hopefully it was a one time situation.

Have a nice day.

Odd had the same thing happen to je today on mine. Versa 3 on pixel 4. All the other stats are there

Best Answer

It's still doing it. The run training shows nothing but the "Not Enough Data" message and walk training shows the calories burnt numbers and the graph background but nothing plotted on the graph.

These are manually started trainings by the way.

I have a similar problem with the charge 3. It tracks Pace distance map calories burned but does not show energy or heart rate

However, the heart rate data does appear when exercise is automatically detected in the app

Best Answer

Mine started doing this too. Everything else is there. Just the energy tab shows "not enough data" or a blank graph page.

I have a Charge 4 and using android.

Best Answer

Getting the same on mine, either not enough data or blank. When I check my online dashboard it shows all the correct information there.

Hello everybody!

Thank you so much for explaining what you are experiencing. It seems to be a display issue within the Fitbit app, since some users have checked the information on the online dashboard and everything is showing there. Recently the Fitbit app was updated. Please check the app store and look for Fitbit. If there is an update available, please download it. Then please check, if the calories information is shown again. Thanks in advance.

Have a nice day!

Checked for updates and my app appears to be up to date. I've tried logging out, force stop, clear cache, etc and that hasn't worked. It seems to be a problem between the App and the data on the fitbit.com dashboard

Best Answer

I have the same issue. In my case the problem only occurs when doing exercises including gps. Calories burnt is showing correct in non gps exercises like weight lifting or elliptical training.  The app it up to date.

Just did a walk today, map shows up unlike my pervious walk where it is stuck loading forever (I can fix this by re-loging into the app, but this causes the most recent exercise to get messed up instead) open the exercise and saw my calories burned page load correctly, then closed the app, reopened the page to see if that fixed it and got hit by the not enough data message.

Went online and took a look at on the fitbit.com dashboard and everything seems to have loaded correctly, including the map that was stuck loading. So there is definitely some issue between the app and fitbit.com dashboard.

Yes I am on the latest version of the app available in the store. Still happening.

I've had this same issue on my Versa and now on my new Sense.

App and watch are both up to date.  The calories burned display in the "IMPACT" tab, but only display intermittently in the "ENERGY" tab.

I've also cleared cache, storage, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my Pixel 6 Pro (although it also happened on my Pixel 5).

Both me and my wife have a Versa 3 and something similar happend to us. Yesterday we did a GPS tracked run, started from the exercise app on the watch. Both of our runs were missing heart rate data with the "not enough data available" message. Calories data was displayed though. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app on my phone and reconnected the watch. Disappointingly this did not help.

This was the first day of our daylight saving time. There are several other topics on here that blame this long standing problem on DST changes. I've not seen it myself before today though.

I did a GPS tracked walk today for 25 minutes, started from the watch. Heart rate is being shown again, but now it's stopped showing content on the Energy tab. It just says "not enough data available".

I just checked some exercise records from a few weeks ago. The first time I looked, it shows calories without a chart. If I then go immediately back and look at the same exercise again, it says "not enough data available".

I am running the latest app.

@RodrigoMFitbit Are the Fitbit developers fixing this?

Yea, that is exactly what happens on my end, Versa 2. Just checked the google play store, there is an update, hope this might fix it. Doesn't seem to have fix pervious workout, will reply when I go for a walk with the new update.

Best Answer

Well the new update and firmware update for my versa 2 did nothing to solve the problem

Best Answer

I'm having the same problem.

"Not enough data" on the energy tab, but it appears on the web dashboard.

This happens for GPS tracked exercises only. Sessions without a route mapped load the data correctly.

I'm on the latest version of the app.

Hello everybody. Thanks for reporting this. It seems to be a display issue on the Fitbit app.

The information is available on the Fitbit.com online dashboard. For the time being you can check out the information over there. I will be reporting this. Once I learn more about this, I will come back. Thanks for your patience.

Have a nice day!
