I have a Charge 2 and about a week ago it would start syncing but the bar would only get about 10% across the loading line then stop. Read multiple forums and tried everything. I have a Nexus 6P. I've tried:
restarting Charge 2 several times (lost all unsynced data from my Fitbit)
reinstalled the Fitbit app
made sure all permissions were on for the app, including location
restarted phone itself
removed my device from the app in hopes of setting up the device again. The app says "We found your tracker" but for the next step is shows "connecting" for a while then ultimately suggestions why it is not working-which I have tried all of those already.
Frustrating!

I'm having similar issues syncing my new Fitbit Blaze with my Moto Z which it running Nougat. Your 6P being Nexus also probably running Nougat. I ended up uninstalling Fitbit app and wiping cache partition to get it to pair again with my Moto and sync. It's synced once since I set it all up again and doesn't seem to want to do it again. Funny how I had no issues with my Fitbit One and Nougat.
I think there are major problems with Bluetooth and Android Nougat and/or the way Fitbit app is written.
If I pair my Blaze with an older Samsung S3 running KitKat it works perfectly.
