Not able to read a text message on the Versa 2

I get the notification that I have a text message and when I try to open it on my Fitbit Versa 2 it says nothing. How do I fix this? I can't read the message at all.  It only shows that I have a message and I don't have the option of reading it. I am using  Samsung 20 FE

I appreciate the details on your post. In order to see the message on your Versa 2, you need to change the message notification settings on your phone to display the content of the message and not only the notification that you have a new message. You can follow the instructions from this website to change those settings (please check specifically on the section "Lock screen").
