Welcome to the Forums @Meenaadvocate

This might be happening because the Nokia Sirocco 8 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone. It is possible that it was working before but some phone or app update caused further optimizations issues that led to this.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Meenaadvocate.

Thanks for giving all of those steps a shot to see if they worked.

In this case, the best option would be to try to sync with a different device as I mentioned above.

Hi All,
I am sorry to say that nothing works.  My Fitbit is not syncing for more than a month now.  I tried all your suggestions and everything else possibly found on the net.   But there is a crash everytime I try and I am getting irritated spending my valuable time on this.
I tried to do a bit of research and this is what I found and this is quite disgusting:-
1.  I went to the fitbit app downloadable from PlayStore version 2.83 (20213333). I have been  installing and uninstalling this app from the playstore, 3 or 4 times.  But the last time, I took time to read more about the product on the Playstore and was shocked to know that the app is not supporting Fitbit Ionic.  When I read carefully, it mentions syncing about "Blaze, Alta, Alta HA, Charge 2, Flex 2, Surge, Charge HR, Charge, Flex,Aria or Zip tracker."  This apparently means that the present app is not supporting Ionic.2.  Fitbit being a global company should reach out to its users and inform us why the app is not supporting Ionic.  If there is an issue they should be open about it.3.  In fact there is app called Sync Fit for Fitbit.  I tried even this with no success.4.  In the above app there is link which speaks of downloading the old version of the app.  Unfortunately, I was not able to get in the net.5.  In your last post, you had mentioned to me that I should try syncing through other devices and also to download on Windows 10.  Unfortunately, Windows 10 does not support Fitbit Ionic.
Hence, after trying for more than a month now, I am fed up and want to return the product to the Company and seek refund.  Please let me know the process for the same.
Regards,Meena

Hello @Meenaadvocate.

Thanks for sharing all of that information.

I have to say that all of the apps should support Ionic, Versa and Charge 3 too. It could be that the description is not updated, could you share a screenshot of the description? I'd like to take a closer look at that.

Please do know that the Windows 10 app does effectively support the Ionic and it should let you sync with it. Please do give it a try.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.
