Not being alerted for new notifications

I was receiving notifications fine on my Note 9 until I had to get a replacement Note 9. Ever since I got the replacement I have not been alerted for any new notifications. The odd thing is that the notifications are showing if I swipe down from the top of the screen. Do not disturb and sleep mode are off. Vibrations are on. I have the correct apps selected on my phone for the alerts. I have factory reset and removed the Versa. The previous firmware version and the new firmware version hasn't made a difference. Nothing is working. I spent 45 minutes wasted on the phone with customer service who told me this is a known issue since the update but I only see that for iPhone users in the forums.

 

Got it working after the reset and removal for about an hour and now it's back to not working.

Hi @kristin1122. I'm glad to see you here around the Forums and I'm sorry for my delayed response.

 

Thanks for sharing detailed information about this situation, as well for the steps that you've tried prior posting. I see where are you coming from since your Fitbit device should have vibrated when receiving notifications, and I appreciate you for contacting our Support team. Just to confirm, are do you feel a vibration for silent alarms or reminders to move? Also, are you having this issue just with text messages notifications, or with calls, calendar and apps notifications? 

 

Although you may have done so, please try the following removing your Fitbit device from your previous and new Samsung Note 9, reboot your phone and set the notifications one more time.
