My current heart rate is displayed on my charge 2. Since your recent update of the android app all I can see is resting heart rate displayed in my version of the app (3.4.2). It was working fine. Also synching is now very unreliable and the updating of food after you add something is very slow.
Yet version 2.63 running on my old kindle functions pretty much perfectly.
Nice animated heart beat pumping away even as I write this.
Perhaps I'd be better off installing that.
Added plus it doesn't have all the ads and prompts to install premium.

@RicardoFitbit thanks for your response. My app is as up to date as it can be on an Android 5 phone.
I did manage to get the heart rate back again by turning off call and text notifications off, then sync, then turn them on again and sync again.
But 2.63 on the kindle still synchs more reliably and updates quicker with the food.
