Have been getting all notifications until recently,  stopped getting email notifications.  Have tried all the tips other than factory reset on my versa. Very frustrating.  Thinking about getting rid of it altogether.

Hello again @Mko52

My apologizes. Here is my understanding of Android not receiving notifications:

If you're having trouble receiving notifications, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Android phone

1. Remove the Fitbit app from your phone.
2. Reinstall the Fitbit app from the Google Play Store.

😉 let me know if that does the trick

Sorry to hear that your not getting emails @Mko52. I'm not sure what all the tips you are referring to may be, but these emails come from Fitbits cloud services, not the app or your tracker.

There really are only a few tips that are worth trying.

Tip one

For notifications with your Fitbit account as in i hit my daily goal, friend requests, etc

Go to your Fitbit.com notification settings

Tip Two

For notifications from the Fitbit community such as You where mentioned.

Go to your community settings and make sure that your still set to receive notifications.

If the above settings are correct then

Tip three.

Contact Fitbit to see if your email address has been black listed because of to many bounced messages.

This has happened with me already and i got support to unblock my address.

Not referring to Fitbit notifications,  talking about no longer receiving email notifications,  still getting text messages and my calendar notifications but the email worked in the morning and then stopped for no reason.  Then last evening started getting weather notifications which never happened before.  At a loss as to what to do.

Hello @Mko52

I look through your other thread and seen you have an iOS device

Try looking here and set it up this way:

iOS Settings > Notifications > Messages > Show Previews > Always (Default)

also iOS settings>notifications>Fitbit> ON

😃 please let me know if this resolves your issue

Hello @Mko52 I've moved your Android question to the Android board.

My confusion was because i found the post on the Fitbit.com board and the server only sends notifications to your email address, not the tracker. My bad.

Suggested fixes do not work.  I have called in numerous times.  This is the absolute worst Fitbit I have ever owned.  This is supposed to be a flagship device and it can't even get email notifications.

I believe this thread is about email notifications on some tracker model and not about email updates in the community @Grandmother

This week with the change in the server. The emails from the community have started back up for us on the council.

We never figured out why they stopped with the last server change.

No, sorry, no resolution and Fitbit ignores any complaint in regards to it, this is ashame since the Versa 2 is their flagship device.

I would I could give you a better answer. I am looking to buy a device from another company, email notifications is such a basic function that even legacy devices from a variety of companies are able to easily do.

Yes this concerns my Versa fitbit and not getting email notifications summarizing the week actual steps, etc. I used to get it and they stopped so I really want to fix this problem. Just having one day at a time on the fitbit is not enough. I need the weekly summary via email. What is the problem with them giving the information?

Are we still on the subject of your tracker not receiving email notifications?

Or is it that we are not receiving our Mondays weekly summary which has nothing to do with the Fitbit app.

Or is it that we are not receiving the community notifications in email form.
