I upgraded to Galaxy 20+ and now I longer get full text messages on my Sense. I have to go to my phone to read them

Thanks for the details shared. You need to change the message notifications' setting on your phone so your Sense can display the message. To do so, open your Message app and tap on the Menu icon (three dots on the top right corner) > Settings > Notifications > Lock screen > Show content.
