Not receiving WhatsApp notifications on Charge 3

I have had my Charge3 for 2 months and the WhatsApp notifications have always worked. The last week I did not use my Charge3 and it died, I recharged it and then the notifications were still coming through successfully the last few hours and not it has stopped from one second to the next.

All notifications come through EXCEPT for WhatsApp.

I have a Samsung S10 and Charge 3, never had issues with WhatsApp coming through until today.

 

Please help!

I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Charge 3 are correctly configured. I suggest you to re-setup the notifications again.

 

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same issue - whats app notifications were working but stopped a few days ago.....I've tried all the suggestions such as turning notifications off/on, bluetooth off/on, restarting my phone and fitbit but they are still not coming through. Is there a problem with the fitbit app thats caused this? thanks

To better assist you and so we can move forward with this, can you please let me know if you're using a Samsung Galaxy S10 too? When was the first time you experienced this? Are you receiving phone call and calendar notifications but not text?

I've noticed this too in the past few days and it's very frustrating. IveI done a complete reset and still nothing .I currently use the S8 note

I have galaxy s7edge. I get phone, calendar, snapchat and sms message notications fine. Its just what's app that suddenly stopped working

Same here. I've got a Galaxy S8 and have tried everything I've seen suggested, but nothing works. All other notifications come through fine.

Same thing here for me. I've got a Versa and a OnePlus phone.
A couple of days ago I stopped receiving WhatsApp notifications.
I tried everything, checking the authorisations, the running in the background, even removing end re-linking the versa... still nothing !

I have same issue as well, my phone is google pixel 3, used to work fine but recently I can't receive WhatsApp notifications anymore, SMS and E-mail still fine, only WhatsApp have problem, tried reconnect phone but still the same

I have the exact same thing

 

Phone: Samsung S8

 

Fitbit: Versa

 

Receive all notifications except WhatsApp. I have reset my Fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, synced, unpaired and repaired with bluetooth. It's been like this for almost two weeks now

And whats app notifications appear to be back - i've done nothing (other than have my apps update automatically) so if you've made a change to the FitBit app then its fixed the issue.

Just as per previously mentioned, we are working to resolve this inconvenience completely because we are aware of this issue that's affecting some users with the text notifications feature. In the meantime and as a workaround, my best advice will be to keep everything up to date (Your Android, Fitbit device firmware and Fitbit app version). Also, please make sure to be using a compatible mobile device with our products and services because a compatibility concern can affect the notifications feature.
