I have also had the problem of the verification email not arriving.  I’ve followed the above instructions to uninstall and reinstall, however the email has still not arrived.

I have also checked and the Fitbit.com domain is already added to my list of safe senders.

What do I do now?

I’ve just noticed a welcome email from this community has arrived in my spam folder. It arrived from an email address with the domain mail.fitbit.com, so I added that to my safe senders list and tried again.

Resent verification...still has not arrived.

Update:

This issue took a long time to solve, however I have now been able to verify my email address.

In the end I had to get in touch with Fitbit support.  They came back to say that my email address had been flagged as one that couldn't not receive emails from their automated system.  This could have been from me marking it as spam in the past (unlikely) or my ISP having classified it as spam

I had to confirm that I wanted the flag removed.

They then sent me an email that included a verification link so that I could confirm my email address.  Unfortunately due to the time difference by the time I read the email it had already expired.  I asked them to resend it about 4 times before one arrived at a time that I would be able to see it before it expired.  After a couple of other attempts it finally worked.

While this may be a short term band-aid, it is not an acceptable solution to me. Has Fitbit come up with a solution to this? I just bought my first Fitbit (Sense) and I am facing this problem.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @fitcon1.

Have you checked your spam or junk folder? Sometimes our emails are directed to those folders by your email service provider. You can also try resending the verification email from your online dashboard by going to www.fitbit.com and login there.

Hope this helps.

Hi there. Thank you for responding.

Yes - I have checked my junk folders. I have hit the "Re-send" link from both the mobile app and the desktop web-app. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the mobile app. I am simply not receiving these verification emails. I am receiving these community emails which is how I knew you responded.

Just to be sure - I disabled the network Pi-Hole and verified that all domains are resolved. Still no email.
