Hello, I've recently got a Fitbit versa as a gift for Christmas. Everything has been great except I so not get any notifications on my Fitbit of any calls or text messages my phone is receiving. I'm running with every thing updates including phone and app software. I need help getting connectivity

Welcome to the Forums @Susana1.

Congratulations on the new Fitbit! Let me help you figure out what is going on with the notifications.

The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to follow all of the steps listed in this help article. That should definitely help you in getting them to get into your Fitbit.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for the reply. I tried everything listed for trouble shooting and have yet to be able to get notifications to my Versa. I do get notifications for step goals being met but not my text messages or calls. I do not even see text messages listed on the notifications page. Screenshot_20190103-191340_Fitbit.jpg

Unfortunately it looks like Fitbit are unable, or uninterested in supporting Android type phones anymore. My Nokia, on the latest version ofof Andro , "pie",  no longer can send notifications. This is a problem with the app.

Fitbit have acknowledged this problem since last year, but haven't fixed it yet.

Shame, really, as they used be good.

All you can do is send the Fitbit back, get a refund, buy a modern device that works instead.

Has this issue been resolved? I just updated from a charge to the versa and I am so disappointed I wasted the money as I get no notification from my text or email, I have tried every thing that has been suggested so annoyed.

Hello @debbieasharp@UsefulIdiot, and @Susana1. Welcome to the Forums @Honeygraham1211.

I apologize for the delay in my response.

@Susana1 it seems like you are in the notifications settings for the app but not for the Fitbit. To access those settings you need go to the account tab on the app, by tapping on the top-right corner. Then tap on the picture of your Fitbit and the notifications settings in there. Try checking that the settings in there do work correctly.

@Honeygraham1211 and @debbieasharp, did you get a chance to try the steps I recommended above. They should definitely work.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
