I just took the latest Signal update on my Android Pixel 3XL running Android 10 with Jan/20 security updates.
Since Signal updated, I am no longer receiving text messages on my Charge 3. They were working perfectly fine previous. All my other notifications work fine. If I change my default SMS app to Textra, that also works fine. It just doesn't work with Signal. (Wife has a Versa 2 and exact same phone / config and her Signal texts *do* go to her Versa 2)
I have tried the following:
- reboot Charge 3
- removed Fitbit app, restarted Pixel, reinstalled Fitbit app
- removed Signal, restarted Pixel, reinstalled Signal
Nothing so far has worked.
Is anyone else experiencing same?

@SunsetRunner are you referring to an iOS version? The version of the Fitbit app that was just released for Android that appears to have fixed the issue is 3.14. That version you reference looks more like an iOS release.

@trawg I think that would be the expected behavior. WhatsApp is not considered an SMS app and should be enabled via the App Notifications and Signal would be the SMS app.

Hi! Not a fitbit user yet and I have a question first before I buy it: does Charge 4 give notification for incoming Signal calls? For various privacy reasons I'm not using regular calls so Signal incoming call notification + vibration is a must-have.
