Not receiving notifications on Samsung S10

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've tried literally everything. Deleted the fitbit app, restarted my phone restarted my watch, disconnected and re connected. Even went as far as factory resetting my watch and still, nothing. I'm on a galaxy s10 and it was working perfectly for about 6 months and now I dont know what happened but nothing I have done has worked. Please help! Am I alone or is this happening to others also??

Hi @Itzerella182, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for your post and troubleshooting your device prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you experienced this inconvenience after updating to Android 10?

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. So I tried all the steps on the link
multiple times before. I deleted my app from my phone and even factory
reset the watch, reconnected and everything and still to this day I wont
receive any notifications. It says my versa2 is up to date with firmware
and my phone is also not requiring any updates (samsung s10) but it had
been working perfectly before Monday. I noticed I had messages on my phone
that I didnt see on my watch. I have stopped wearing my versa since I work
and typically need to receive notifications without being on my phone but
am upset about it because I cant track my steps or heart rate or workouts
throughout the days anymore. I m not sure what other steps to take.

Fitbit are aware that everything we try isn't working with our s10s so we have to wait for them to rectify it because don't worry it's happening to alot of us:(!!!

I've got a Samsung Galaxy s10e and noticed Monday (28/09/2020) afternoon, I lost all my notification alerts too. Everything is updated and I've done all the above steps too. But my phone on the app was still saying I needed to restart my phone so the notifications would work again. I thought I was loosing my mind too. I hope they get it fixed too. I rely on my notifications while at work.
