Charge 3 along with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Only notification which is working is calling notification. All other notifications are not working (SMS, apps not.)
Of course I have red error with description "Notification service not running" in General>Notification area.
What I tried so far?
- disabling and enabling notifications
- several restarts of phone and band
- turning off battery saving for app
- granting all possible permissions for app
- I have 2.94 app version so help articles about upgrading to 2.73 are not applicable in my case
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1610/?q=notifications&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1
https://en.miui.com/thread-2754425-1-1.html - this worked for me while I was on Android 8.1 because i had the same issue.
I didn't want to try unpair my device with BT after recent issues with pairing after upgrade to Andorid 9 when I lost almost whole day to reestablish connection.

Thanks for your reply and update @rejkz I'm happy to continue providing you with assistance. My apologies for the delay in responding your post.
First, let me appreciate your effort and patience at the moment you tried all of the troubleshooting steps that were specified on your reply. I'd like to let you know that your Xiaomi Rdmi Note 5 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are or were able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern. That said, even though your mobile device is not compatible, lets give it a try to our help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Some of the troubleshooting steps that were already tried are specified there, however, this specific article includes helpful information that may resolve your doubts.
If by any chance you're still unable to receive text notification on the Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device instead.
Please let me know how it goes, I'll be here if further assistance is required.

Sorry but I'm disappointed with your reply. Do you expect that I'll go and change my mobile phone because of band? Other thing is that the list of supported devices looks like museum. The newest device which I found was Huawei P20 PRO which is almost 1,5 year on the market. Much worse is with all mid-range devices which are even older.

Hello again! Your reply is appreciated @rejkz, I'm glad to continue assisting you today. Sorry for the delay in responding.
I totally understand your frustration with this matter, please note that I suggested you to try with a different mobile device if want the notifications feature to work the way we designed it. Since you're currently using a non-compatible device, we as Fitbit can't ensure that all your tracker features will work as intended. Take in consideration that we are always working and testing different mobile devices to make them compatible with our products and services, the feedback that was submitted in your post is appreciated.
I'll be around if you need anything else.

I'm just curious.
Can you point which devices released in current year were tested and added to compatible list in last months (let's say 3 months)?

Thanks for your reply @rejkz, it's a pleasure to continue assisting you.
At this moment I do not have a list including all the mobile devices that were tested in the last 3 months as per your question, the testing process is done by a specialized team here at Fitbit and not the Community Moderators. However, if you're curious about specific mobile devices, you can check our help article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker? for more information and details.
See you around!
