Is there a reason why the Versa 2 doesn't work with a Samsung Galaxy Note 10? I have had fitbit's for years and I get that new phone models come out and I have literally just had an update after having mine a few days and now the notifications do not work with SMS!
As advanced as FitBit's are for fitness watches/smart watches......this should be able to be solved, yes?
Do we know that there are tech support people working to resolve this? Will there be a new update soon? I hate to go get a Samsung Watch because I like these better, but come on, this isn't the newest phone on the market and I know several people are having the issue with similar phones.

Hi @KaylynC, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the input that was shared in your post, we are always striving to improve the Fitbit experience with our products and services. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with it.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have tried all the troubleshooting articles and steps with nothing changing. I assume it is just my phone model.
When I had the original Versa watch it worked fine with my older phone, even when it was a newer model years ago. It's just surprising that its compatible with apps and calls just not SMS.
I hope that someone is working to fix these issues I've seen with mine and other similar phone models. Otherwise this fitbit purchase was a big waste of time.

I have Galaxy note 10+ and my Fitbit charge 3 was receiving notifications from my phone until my phone software updated and I no longer receive text notifications.

I have a Samsung Note 10+, also had the Versa (which text/call notifications worked on), but when I got the Versa 2, only call notifications come through. I was super disappointed by this & still don't understand wth the problem is. I read your post months ago when I got my Versa 2 & honestly gave up on the chase for text notifications, until a few days ago...
I found a work around, I started using Signal as my text messaging app & BAM! Text message notifications now come through on my Versa 2 from my Note 10+. Honestly, I don't mind the switch too much, Signal is more secure/encrypted VS Samsung's messaging app. Although I do miss the themes in my messages, I guess it's a small sacrifice to get text notifications back on my watch. I thought I could live without text notifications on my Versa, but when I got them back, I didn't even realize how much I truly missed them. I'm sticking with Signal until Samsung & Fitbit get their 💩 together & play nice.
