Not receiving text notifications

I get calendar reminders and phone calls, but no messages. This happend a few months ago and I was told to wait for the next update. This started yesterday and today an update came out and no change. So frustrating.

 

Time to look for a different brand and toss my 3rd Fitbit!

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured.

 

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

I have unpaired, I have reset I have read every suggestion and have even tried tricks rhat others have suggested. Nothing works. I have a Galaxy S9+ phone.

I'm having the same issues! I even did a factory reset on my versa! This is crazy!

I got a new Fitbit versa 2 for Christmas. All of my call notifications come thru perfectly.  A few times my fitbit actually vibrated before my phone even sounded; however,  my texts, other messaging apps, emails, and other notifications arw not coming thru consistently.  They might once or twice but overall they are not coming thru.  I've tried every suggestion in the help forums & troubleshooting.  Everything is updated, reset, reloaded, etc. 

Please help.

I had this problem for months and Fitbit wouldn't fix it. This was my 3rd watch as well. I have tossed my watch in a drawer and purchsed a Samsung Active 2 smart watch and couldn't be happier. It runs circles around the Fitbit.
