Not syncing; bluetooth keeps restarting; wifi not loading

This is brutal - it won't sync easily, the bluetooth crashes and restarts when I do manually try to sync; and the wifi set up just spins and spins. And, on top of it all, I think steps aren't being captured with accuracy. This is the second fitbit that I've owned that just is horrible. What was I thinking to give them a second chance?
