Not syncing correctly with challenges

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm doing a work week hustle. For the last 2 days it says I have only done a little over 5,000 steps when actually I have done over 21,000. I use a charge HR. It is right everywhere else in the app when I look but go to the challenge and it is way off. How am I suppose to win  when it is not syncing half of my steps?

Hello @Teetee6977, awesome to have new faces in the Fitbit Community! I was reading your total step count was not showing in your workweek hustle challenge.

In this case make sure of the following recommendations:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database, sometime it may take some time to compile all your steps in to your challenge count.
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

Review these and let me know if the issue persists.

I'm going to say that is really unfair. I have a flex and the only way I can get counted for exercising each day is by tracking or manual log....the weather has been crappy so I've been using the treadmill rather than going outside. I take off my tracker and then manually log after.....those steps aren't counted in the hustle

So basically I have to forfeit my "exercise goals" when I'm in a challenge
