Not syncing with latest version of the app

After updating the app I have now been told it's compatible with my Sony Ericsson Xperia x compact, I was working fine till I was advised to update the app. I've not even been given any idea when it may if at all work.

@Le75 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't syncing after updating the Fitbit app. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and removed the devices listed there. After this restart your phone and your Fitbit device

Thanks for advise, unfortunately it hasn't worked. Guess I'll just have to
wait till fitbit update it for my phone.
