Your update is appreciated @kattyone, sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for troubleshooting this situation with me, seems odd that even after trying the steps from my previous post you're still not receiving text notifications. For further investigation of this, can you please let me know if you recently updated your mobile device's Android version to Android 10?

Looking forward to your reply.

Oh man! I'm excited for you! Mine is still not working. If you think of
it later, can you update me again? I'm wondering if everyone's was
fixed...except mine or if you were just extra lucky. Lol. Thank you!

That's awesome!!! I'm still not getting any texts coming through 😩 Spoke with customer service AGAIN yesterday and they put in yet ANOTHER ticket...

No eta as to when we can expect this to be resolved, BUT the Android engineers "are working on it"

🤞🤞

Keep us posted!!

I changed to Google Messages and it worked - for about 3 messages, and now it's not working, either. So disappointed. And Google Calendar reminders still aren't working

I was having the same issues. I have a Samsung S10 and updated to android 10 and the versa. Switched to the messages + app and it worked immediately! It's not my favorite messaging app, I prefer the Samsung messages app but until Fitbit actually acknowledges this is an issue and fixes it I'll be stuck using that. I don't appreciate how they acknowledge all over their website about the issues with the ios update and don't even bother to mention the android update that's been an issue for MONTHS. And their customer support is lousy. Same thing, different day. "Restart your phone, restart your Fitbit, disconnect your bluetooth, etc etc"

On a side note, google messages also works but I preferred messages + to google but to each their own!

So I periodically got texts again last night. Fingers crossed this means they are actively working on issues 🤞

I hope so! I am almost embarrassed to admit how much I rely on it.

I am using 2 different "workarounds" right now. It's flawed, but at least
it works for urgent matters.

Thank you again! I know it's not just us.😉

Thank you for hanging in here with me!

You have been very helpful.

Best of luck to you with your new notification system. 🤣

Maybe you can regift the Fitbit to someone you don't like very much.🤣🤣🤣

Take care!

Hi @MinaJ525, It's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this inconvenience and how many times since then? Is your device running Android 10 or 9? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa 2 are correctly configured.

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
