I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+. My fitbit is a Charge 3.
- I do receive e-mail notifications (Samsung App) and can read the e-mail.
- I do receive phone notifications (Verizon) and can see the caller ID
- I do receive txt msg notifications (Samsung App) but CAN NOT view the actual txt message.
Hope this helps clarify the issues....

@AlessFitbit any ETA on this yet??? This was 15 days ago that you posted this.. it should be as simple as some sort of patch on your end of things... This is making me want to switch to a different smart device all together.

What I am concerned about is an lack of reply from Fitbit on this issue. Seems they are more concerned about Apple devices.
I am not having this problem on my S10+ but I upgraded to Android 10 before I received my Fitbit.

I just installed and switched to Google Messages from Samsung Messages on my S10, and got the vibrate and text on my Alta HR! Not sure if this will last, but wanted you all to know. Fingers crossed!

Well my Fitbit app just notified me that there was an update. So I completed the update and I'm waiting for a friend to text me back to see if the patch actually fixed the text message notification problem that has been going on. If not this device is going back and I will be moving onto something more reliable. Fingers crossed.

The app had a notification for the update so I allowed it to do so and switched my messages back to the original and uninstalled there Google messenger that I was using and so far it's working.

I am not seeing any update on my app. Where did you go in the app to see that there was an update? Also I use this text messaging app

I as well use the Samsung messenger app that is originally on my phone. If you go to your account in your Fitbit app and go to the help section on the very bottom of the help section it should say check for versa 2 update. But my app had a notification block at the very top right under the refresh bar that gave me the notification of an update. Maybe try that help section to see if it does it for you.
