Notification only push when the phone screen is on

I have a Samsung Note 5 Paired with a charge 2. I can get Phone notifications just fine, but text notifications only push to the tracker when my phone screen is on. I have checked all settings for my messages to display on top of the lock screen and to allow messages to be sent/pushed and can't seem to get it to work when the screen is locked. Was working a little while ago, but I do not recall changing any settings that may have prevented this from functioning.

Hello @Luke_d_e, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! Certainly this is an odd behavior. I think the best would be to start from scratch.

  1. Unpair your tracker from your mobile device. You can unpair your tracker in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. If you are unsure how to verify or change settings for your mobile device, refer to instructions provided by your device manufacturer. For most Android mobile devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find your tracker in the list of paired devices, and then tap Forget or Forget Device to unpair your tracker.
  2. Reboot your mobile device.
  3. In the Fitbit app, tap Allow notifications access and allow access to the Fitbit Notification Service, and then turn on call, text, or calendar notifications again. If you need a walkthrough to enable notification refer to this post.

Hope this help you to resolved the issue. See you around.

I had actually tried that before posting this message. I have un-paired/paired the device several times, including the exact process outlined in the help section on the website. I have event re-setup the track as if a new device and only received the same results.

One more thing @Luke_d_e, check your sound settings. There might be an option to allow notifications on the lock screen.
