I went through all the "solved" solutions and troubleshooting and have not had any luck getting notifications working between my S8+ and brand new Blaze.
In going though the lists, I noticed that in the Fitbit App -> Notifications -> App Notifications check list, the default apps are greyed out, and the check box is UNchecked. I cannot check the box. If I go back and change the default app to something else, I can go back into App Notifications and then check the box, but I still do not get notifications. If I go back and change the default to the now checked app, when I go back to the list, the app is greyed out and UN checked again.
Hopefully this is useful information to resolve the problem that does not seem to have been resolved for so many Blaze owners.

Hi there @laurier78,welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I was reading you are experiencing issues to received notifications from your Galaxy S8. Thank you for trying all the possible solutions to address this issues, despite the Galaxy S8 has just been listed as compatible, we are still working on some bugs with the S8, rest assure we are hoping to improve compatibility soon.
As a matter of review please visit the following post to see if something is missing: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app). Since you mentioned the option is gray out, I recommend to restart your phone and try to set up the notification one more time following the process mentioned at the end of the post I've shared above.
Thank you for your patience while we work to improve the Fitbit experience.
