I have tired running all kinds of trouble shooting I can come across but can not get texts, calls, or anything to come from my phone to my alta hr. I had an alta before this one but it wasn't getting the notifications as well and I thought when I bought it it was the HR so I returned it and got this one. any help please and thank you!

Hi @Mamad14, welcome on board. It's good that the community is growing!
I'm sorry that the notifications aren't going through the Alta HR, and appreciate the steps that you've tried prior posting. I've confirmed that your Samsung Galaxy A6 is a supported device, so let's work on this together. There are some factors that may prevent your device from getting notifications, so make sure of the following:
Although you've tried some steps, please give a try to the following:
Let me know how it goes.

Hi @Mamad14. It's nice to see you around. I'm sorry for my delayed response.
Thanks for your efforts while troubleshooting your Alta HR, and I'm sorry that the issue persists. As mentioned before, your phone hasn't been fully optimized to work with the Fitbit app and to confirm if the issue is related to that model, please sync with another supported device so you can try receiving notifications on there. If the issue persists, let me know the Android version of your phone, as well try restarting your Alta HR to refresh its settings.
Keep me posted!

I don't have another phone that I can connect it to to see if it receives text messages or not. You also did not say my phone hasn't been fully optimized to work with the fitbit app, you actually said that they are compatible. This is getting very frustrating, how can a device the costs over a hundred dollars doesn't work right but a $40 one thats not a fitbit works perfectly fine?

Hi @Mamad14. Thanks for getting back.
I'm sorry for the confusion with my previous post. Indeed your phone has been fully optimized to work with the Fitbit app and I suggested to use another device just to see how it responds. I understand your point of view about this situation and since you've tried the possible steps, I've contacted our Support Team so they can create a case on your behalf. You'll receive an email with more details, keep an eye on your inbox.
See you around.
