Notifications constantly off and on

I have a Samsung S8, and every day I have to turn notifications back on if not multiple times a day.  It will randomly turn them off. I don't understand why I have to constantly enable notifications.   And why do I always have to turn some Samsung notification off or off and on to get them enabled in the first place?  Please help.

Hi there @SnooRN, good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community! Certainly this is not an expected behavior. So my recommendation is to set up your notifications from scratch one more time.

  1. Unpair your tracker from your mobile device. You can unpair your tracker in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. If you are unsure how to verify or change settings for your mobile device, refer to instructions provided by your device manufacturer. For most Android mobile devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find your tracker in the list of paired devices, and then tap Forget or Forget Device to unpair your tracker.
  2. Reboot your mobile device.
  3. In the Fitbit app, tap Allow notifications access and allow access to the Fitbit Notification Service, and then turn on call, text, or calendar notifications again.

Rest assure we are still working on some bugs with the S8 and are hoping to improve compatibility soon.

See you again and hope this helps.
