I changed my notifications settings on my Blaze to receive alerts and emails (from my office Outlook) and now I am unable to pick-up the messages from my smart phone ( Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge).  I can't figure out how to change it back where it is not interfering with emails to my smart phone.  Can anyone offer assistance here?

Welcome to the Community @RandyLee.

I can see how that can be frustrating. Unfortunately, whenever you setup notifications with a specific device your Fitbit will pair with that device and will not connect to any other devices. So in this case, since you setup email notifications with your office device, the Blaze will not connect with your S7.

I hope this clarifies the situation. If you have any further questions feel free to let me know.

I think what you have done is change the default mail notification setting from your Samsung message app to the Outlook app.

What you need to do is have the default mail notification set to your Samsung message app and then in the App Notifications, scroll down to the Outlook app and check it ON. This will then allow you to get both your Samsung messages and your Outlook messages.

Hey @KLeBlazeS5.

That sounds like it could work, but it depends on what device is being used for the notifications. It is still worth the shot.

Thanks for chiming in. If you have any questions, please let me know.

That's exactly what I do and I have both phone email notifications and the Outlook app email notifications.

I also get sms notifications and notifications from my Kik and Teamsnap by ticking them in the App Notifications listing.
