Hello @reid90, let me start by giving you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! I would like to give you a hand first with the battery issue you have mentioned.
Dust and debris can accumulate over time and prevent a good charge. So clean the charging contacts on the back of your tracker to ensure they stay bronze or gold in color. You can use a toothpick or a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol. Make sure not to scrape the contacts with a wire brush or anything metal, since this can damage the plating and cause corrosion. If you use a toothbrush, dry with a cloth or tissue before charging.
Other caused is the USB port or outlet is faulty. So If you haven't done so, try a different port. A UL-certified wall charger will also work. Don't use a USB hub. You can review if the tracker isn't connected securely to the charging cable too.
At last and if the previous suggestions has not resolved the issue, try with a restart. For directions to restart your tracker check the following post.
Regarding your call notifications please give it a try to the following post. You'll find all the help you need to enable your notifications. Since the Galaxy S8 has just been recently added to our list of compatible devices, we are still working on some bugs with the S8 and are hoping to improve compatibility soon so you might find issues with notifications or with setting up your tracker.
Hope this helps and keep me posted how it goes.
