Best AnswerI just got mine to work. Go to the fitbit app and click on the account icon on the top right corner. click on your device=under general click on notifications and then enable calls, text messages, emails, etc. Under text message pick your default messaging app. Hope that helps.
I tried everything on this document and it didn't help with the notifications.
