Okay I have gone through all these steps carefully more than 3 times well as much as I'm able because that all important TAP is part of what's SOMETIMES working. I have a Motorola G6 and I just want to know if this just is no longer compatible with my 200 dollar watch. If that's the case I'll find another brand because this is absolutely ridiculous!

Hi @SOULSHINE66. Welcome back to the Forums and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for letting me know about the notifications issues experienced with your Fitbit and let me help you out with this situation. I've verified that your Motorola G6 isn't part of our compatible devices list and that might be the reason of this issue. As with any other app, our team optimized the Fitbit app to work with certain models after ensuring that every feature, such as notifications, will work flawlessly.
If you've tried the troubleshooting described in this help article, I'd recommend to try syncing your Fitbit with a supported device so we can determine if the compatibility of your phone is the main factor of this situation. If the issue persists, please provide me with the model of your Fitbit and confirm if you've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app in your phone.
By the way, I've moved your post to the Android board so you can receive more related responses about this situation and to keep our forums organized.
