After charging my phone or the Versa it is no longer synced to the phone. One time I had to reinstall the app to get it to start working again.

I have been having an issue for months. In fact I was the person who informed them that the newest operating system on the S69 Samsung was not syncing and no notifications. I keep asking but they say they have not solved the issue yet. Has anyone else had this issue? I am ready to get rid of it. So frustrating

My Versa 2 also stops syncing with my phone all the time - at least once a day, even though I've got All Day Sync enabled. I have to restart my phone to get it to sync. My phone is an LG G6 and it's been happening for the past three weeks or so.

I spoke to a Supervisor and she is escalating it. I feel they have many projects especially with the new versions of the watch that this gets put in the back burned.

Make sure battery optimization is turned off for Fitbit in system settings. This helps general syncing and notifications, but not music and volume control with the Versa (Classic) Bluetooth connection. Versa (Classic) Bluetooth for Music Control will not pair/stay connected unless in pairing mode since the last firmware update 68.9.15 and pairing mode eventually turns off causing Versa (Classic) Bluetooth to disconnect. I have tested this error/bug on two devices, the Oneplus 5 and Oneplus 7pro. No issues prior latest firmware update. From what I've seen online this is happening on multiple fitbit devices.

EarlXin, the Fitbit app has been excluded from battery optimization for months on my LG G6.

One thing I also found was when switching to a new phone with Android 10 Bluetooth issues across many devices were fixed. Android 10 has remarkably better Bluetooth control and connection and supports more devices to be paired with your phone at the same time. If you can upgrade to Android 10 I would suggest doing so or waiting till it becomes available to your device

thank you but unfortunately I can’t at this time. I think the Fitbit should just work without me having to invest money. Have a good day

I'm on Android version 8.0.0, and I didn't have any issues with syncing until I updated to the app to version 3.11. I don't have any issues with Bluetooth for anything else on my phone

I have the issue that my versa just decides not to sync certain data, or somtimes none at all, it's all been since the latest app update! Ridiculous

My phone has been doing the same thing and I have a Samsung s10+. I've reached out to Fitbit and they say my phone isn't compatible with the Versa system, but they're working on it. It's frustrating because I switched to Fitbit from a Samsung watch.

I've thought about switching back as well, or upgrading to the newer Versa2, but I'm afraid it would be the same way & I don't really want to waste that kind of money. 😏

I recently started having the issue on my Versa but was due for an upgrade so I went to Versa2, and it continues to happen. Don't waste your money unless you want some of the added features.
