Versa continually stops syncing with phone

After charging my phone or the Versa it is no longer synced to the phone.  One time I had to reinstall the app to get it to start working again.

I had given up my my samsung gearfit2 pro for the versa lite then traded
that in for versa2 when the black friday sale was on. What a waste that
was. Debating taking it back and getting my money back.

My Versa hasn't synced to my phone since Monday at 5:00. It is really frustrating!! The time on my watch is also all messed up, it is 11:53 here and my watch says 8:57 since it hasn't been able to sync. They claim all the issues have been fixed; however it is still not working for me. It worked fine until the FitBit update and I've had it since April.

Apparently I got a refresh but it doesn’t seem to work...I thought they finally listened to us but I guess not. In case they read these...VersaSamsung 9S +Operating system 9

I was having the same issues called their help line went through a few steps had to turn certain things off reboot the phone and it has worked great since no more trouble syncing or finding the device...we had to turn off all day sync and always connected then reboot let it find the device then turn those back on.

I updated from my iPad because I couldn’t from my phone. I rebooted my Samsung phone and my Fitbit will not update on my phone.

I just purchased a Versa 2. I have Samsung Galaxy 9, all the problems described are happening.

UPDATE:

 

My Versa 2 received the latest firmware update a couple of days ago, and things are much better. The watch still gets disconnected from my LG G6, but now all I have to do is turn bluetooth off and on to get it to re-sync (whereas before I had to completely restart my phone.) The time period where syncing stays active is now much longer, sometimes for hours, and during that period I'm receiving notifications as well.  I wish it would stay connected for days, but I'm happy that it is at least improving.

I have the same problem and then when the fitbit updated itself - my fitbit will not turn on. I am so tired of this. The app just is not syncing the heart and the min. Missing too many things when there is finally a sync with the app.

 

I have no clue on how to turn the fitbit versa back on - what a waste.

Yeah, now after the latest update, I have to restart my phone to get the Versa 2 to sync, and the syncing only stays active for a few minutes. This is so annoying 😞
